Foundation events directly benefit the lives of students at Clackamas, while creating a spirit of community that involves patrons, staff, faculty, guests and students. While the Foundation hosts a variety of events year-long, the primary fundraisers include two golf tournaments, and an auction/dinner. The Foundation also hosts a scholarship recognition reception each spring that brings together donors and recipients.

CCC Wrestling Crab Feed

The Clackamas Community College Foundation, on behalf of the CCC wrestling team, will host the sixth annual crab feed and auction fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 10 p.m., in Gregory Forum, 19600 Molalla Ave., Oregon City.

Crack a shell or 17 at this no-host social hour and auction. The night begins with shrimp cocktails and smoked salmon appetizers followed by an all-you-can-eat crab dinner. Proceeds from the event assists the CCC wrestling team in purchasing team gear and funding the annual trip to the National Championships.

"This event is a great way to support our nationally recognized Clackamas wrestling program," head wrestling coach Josh Rhoden said.

Last year, CCC wrestling finished with its first undefeated season at 17-0, five athletes were in the National Championship finals with seven All-Americans and a national runner-up finish as a team. Additionally, the Cougars won their fourth straight National Dual Meet Championship and fourth straight West Region Championship.

The crab feed and auction helps CCC get our athletes a level of exposure that allows them opportunities to move on to a four-year college or university to pursue their educational and athletic dreams.

The cost is $50 per person, or sponsor a table of eight for $400. Register online
