Employee Giving

Employee Donation Drive

October 11-15, 2021

For the last 50 years, CCC employee donations have been crucial to maintain much needed resources for community college students. CCC Employees generously make up the largest constituency of donors to the CCC Foundation, and since the year 2000, CCC has had an average employee donor participation rate of an astounding 69%. Each year during the employee giving drive, we call upon you to take a moment to consider supporting CCC students in your philanthropic planning. The investment you choose to make is critical to provide a greater impact in your community and it may be the very thing that keeps your students moving forward.

Last year we saw a lot of adversity. We saw a lot of generosity, too. During last year’s employee giving drive, the donor participation rate was 45%, which was remarkable considering what we were all going through. It provided the Foundation an opportunity to pause and examine what students really need. Last academic year, the average scholarship award was $2,161, which is incredible until we discovered that this covered only 30% of basic student needs.

This year, we look forward to partnering with you on our annual campaign, Moving Students Forward. For those of you who choose to donate, we will be providing you with an “I Move Students Forward” long sleeve shirt, depicting the journey that when a student chooses us, we get them to where they want to be. Shirts will be available for those who opt for annual payroll deduction of any amount or choose a one-time donation of $120 (equivalent to $10 a month).

Our annual employee giving drive is a sacred moment showcasing support for our very own community of students, faculty, classified staff, and innovative programs. It will kick off very soon and will conclude on Friday, October 15.
