The Clackamas Community College Difference

As an institution that strives to provide affordable education, CCC tuition is one of the most reasonably priced community colleges in the state of Oregon. However, despite being more affordable than most, more students than ever are applying for financial aid. Last year, Clackamas Community College Foundation provided hundreds of scholarships, nearly $1,000,000 in 2022-23, to reduce the financial burdens for our college students. We also provide emergency grants to students to help with basic needs like childcare, transportation, medical care, and rent assistance. These often are the difference between a student continuing their education and having to drop out.

For over 50 years, Clackamas Community College has made education possible by providing innovative programs, scholarships, and basic needs support for the current and future change makers of Clackamas County. Whether students are pursuing a degree, seeking technical and career training to be more competitive in the workforce or returning for continued and lifelong learning, CCC provides support both inside and outside the classroom. With the help of our generous donors and community partners, we lift students beyond their financial barriers so they can achieve their dreams.

Let's combine our efforts to impact in the lives of CCC students by raising more than $50,000 for student resources, scholarships, basic needs support, and innovative program initiatives.

With a steady focus on progress and community spirit, the college has grown to serve a diverse student body of more than 26,000 students of wide-ranging ages, backgrounds and program interests, with more than 1,300 classes taught each term. Through the Cougar Community Campaign, you can find a home for your generosity. The funds featured here reach every corner of our campuses.

The pursuit of higher education is a journey that opens doors and empowers individuals to shape their own lives. The support of the Cougar Community helps students access the resources they need.
