Areas of Greatest Need

Clackamas Community College continues to be the best start for many first-time college students and people returning from a break in their education. The institution has more affordable tuition and top-quality instruction makes CCC the place to begin or continue a college career. Nationally, community colleges educate 65 percent of tomorrow's health care professionals, and people of all ages are making community colleges their first choice for computer and technology training.

The CCC Foundation seeks to holistically support students in their pursuit of education. Giving to the Area of Greatest Need fund enables vital assistance in addressing Clackamas Community College's immediate needs, providing the college the flexibility to support innovative programs and student success.

Some examples of need:

Instructional Support

Contributing to a "Fund for Excellence" is an ideal way to support the department at CCC that is most important to you. These contributions are combined with others to fund projects and equipment that may be out of reach due to budget constraints.

In-kind contributions can also benefit many departments throughout the college. These can include tools or parts to the Automotive program; metal scraps to the Welding program; equipment to Manufacturing; supplies to Health Sciences; props to the Theatre; or children’s books to the Family Resource Center.
