Remembering Alex Luchak

Alex Jonathan Luchak was born on August 5, 1989. His brother, Justin, whom he lovingly called “his baby,” was born May 9, 1991. Alex attended Mt. Scott Grade School, Sunrise Junior High and Clackamas High School, graduating in 2007.

Alex began working at age 15 at Miles Fiberglass. His greatest passion, however, was baseball, which he played from third grade through Varsity at Clackamas High School. He attended Oregon State University before returning home to earn an associate degree in Business and Renewable Energy from Clackamas Community College.

In 2010, Alex returned to Miles Fiberglass joining the Wind Turbin Technician Team, where he traveled the country. Eventually he discovered his true calling in sales. He joined Clackamas Community College Foundation Board in 2023 where he enjoyed contributing his time just as his grandfather had done. In 2017, he met the love of his life, Brittney Gonzales. The two married in 2022 on a beautiful outdoor day and shared a joyful life together, including their beloved cat, Beggariah, whom they adored as their child.

Alex will be remembered for his dedication, humor, loyalty, and love for family, friends, and the life he built.

Alex is survived by his wife, Brittany Luchak; brother, Justin Luchak; father, Joe Luchak; mother, Lori Olund; and step-father, Forrest Olund.

The family graciously accepts donations to the Miles Family Manufacturing Endowed Scholarship, a cause Alex deeply believed in and proudly served through his work on the board.
