Moving Students Forward with Scholarships

The 2024–25 academic year was another banner year for the CCC Foundation’s scholarship program. For the second time in our history, more than $1 million was awarded in scholarships. Among the nearly 450 recipients were students from every background and pathway, all connected by a shared determination to achieve their goals. Here are other important stats from the year:

  • $1,066,732 total funds awarded
  • 446 scholarship recipients
  • 87% next term retention rate
  • 205 recipients graduated or transferred

CCC Foundation also reached a transformative milestone: the establishment of the Student Opportunity Scholarship Endowment at $1 million. By building a sustaining source of funding, we strengthen our ability to respond to evolving student needs and remove barriers as they arise.

CCC’s commitment to fostering growth, resilience, and investing in its students has given me renewed purpose and determination. I found my passion reignited when I was reintroduced to computer science through SheCodes. The world of new possibilities through programming and problem-solving became a place where I could rebuild and reimagine my future. This scholarship represents not just financial assistance, but also a vote of confidence in my ability to succeed in this new phase of my life. - Stephanie P.

Every scholarship awarded tells a student: You belong here. Your goals are possible. Our community believes in you. Thank you to every donor, volunteer, advocate, and partner who makes this life-changing work possible.
